Name of the position：Sales Analysis Manager

Sales Distribution Development Department – Data Analysis

Report to ：Sales Development Director

Key objectives

1. Provide professional sales & market trend analysis and reports to CSO, BH/CH and related HQ departments in timely manner.

2. Lead & coach the team to identify, analyze sales network performance issues (ie: productivity, competitor’s impact, commodity trends, sales incentive, etc.), understand root causes and suggest possible solutions.

3. Design and Semi/Automate regular reports and change ad-hoc reports into regular ones as necessary.

4. Enhance operational and strategic sales planning tools to support our growing business

5. Build and set up processes to support communication back to network to enhance sales performance

Duties and responsibilities

1. Manage data analysis team responsible for: :

2. a) Processing data through Oracle SQL and Excel to prepare and distribute sales reports regularly (daily/weekly/monthly) for CSO, Sales

Department, headquarter/management team

1. b) Analyzing data to find out issues hidden behind numbers and proposing suggestions to address these issues.

2. c) Designing and automating routine reports by software Business Object (BO) and Excel VB.

3. d) Designing new reports to meet sales and management requirements.

4. e) Following up regular sales issues like risk/RA bonus/3G card/express fee, consolidating progress and feedback to relevant department to improve.

5. f) Collecting and consolidating sales plans on a monthly basis and identifying potential issues.

6. g) Monitoring and analyzing Sales Network Productivity: ie non-performing POS, SA binding & staffing, SA/DSM/AP BEP

7. h) Cross-checking errors within sales and other relevant departments, dealing with sales network feedback and issues in the database incl. POS bible, POS status, Sales Daily report etc.

8. i) Build processes to support communication team and provide them with data

9. Coach the team to improve the professionalism and expertise like data analysis, report design, summary, IT demand clarification, issue identification, process optimization & sales costing control.

10. Redevelop and enhance current operational and strategic sales planning tools in cooperation with finance and other departments to further support business needs of our quickly growing network.

Requirements

Education/Experience

1. Bachelor degree or above; Statistics /business management/computer major preferred;

2. 6+ years work experience in business planning and analysis; preferably in Financial or Retail industry

3. Experience within large organization and market is an advantage

4. Management experience of a small team (3-6 people) is a must

Knowledge

1. Data processing and analysis;

2. Familiar with the business process management (process analysis, description, issue identification, problem solving etc.);

3. Understanding of Banking/Consumer Finance industry dynamics and or Retail market(Chinese market advantage) Skills and Competencies

4. Ability to search for patterns behind numbers with skills to connected to Market reality, industry trends and consumer insights.

5. Proficient in MS Office, especially in EXCEL report generation and data processing;

6. Proficient in Oracle or SQL script;

7. Fluent in English writing and speaking; fluency in Mandarin advantage

8. Responsive, self starter with team spirit and can-do attitude.
